AEFI’s A+ Award campaign gives you the opportunity to recognize an educator’s outstanding service in a tangible and meaningful way by making a donation to our organization.
Each year AEFI invests in our teachers, the “people capital” of the school system, by providing grants to those teachers who bring forward innovative ideas which broaden the scope of the Amesbury public school curriculum. By supporting these programs, AEFI enables dedicated teachers to make a meaningful difference in their students’ classroom experience. AEFI turns your dollars into new grants, making more funding available for Amesbury teachers to support their innovative programs.
How to Participate in the A+ Awards Program
Nomination Period: Nominations are accepted throughout the school year.
Online Donations: Visit our Donations Center to make a secure payment. You may enter any amount for your donation. When the “Review Payment” page comes up, please click the box that says “Special instructions to Seller,” and be sure to include your name and address, and the name of the teacher you are honoring.
Donations by Mail: Simply download the A+ Award Application and provide us with the name of the teacher(s) or administrator(s) you wish to honor. You may make a donation in ANY amount.
We will send each honoree a card indicating that you have made a gift in his or her name (we will not disclose the amount of the gift). During the school year, AEFI will place an ad in the Daily News and the Amesbury News listing the honorees and notify the teacher’s principal about this distinction. Just imagine a teacher lining his or her classroom wall with A+ Awards!
