2012 Hall of Honor Nomination and Grant Info

THE EVENT:
The 10th Annual AEFI Hall of Honor Banquet and Ceremony is set for Friday, May 4, 2012 starting at 6pm at Holy Family Parish Hall in downtown Amesbury.
Each spring this event honors former Amesbury students, former Amesbury educators or friends of Amesbury schools who have made extraordinary contributions to their community or profession.

2011 Jeffrey Donovan Scholarship Winner

AEFI congratulates AHS Senior Ashlie Lima, who was awarded the 2011 Jeffrey Donovan Scholarship for the Arts! This scholarship was established by Jeffrey through AEFI to award one $10,000 scholarship each year to an Amesbury High School senior who plans to major in a fine arts career program in college.

AEFI Grant Assists Students following Earthquake in Japan

Amesbury Middle School Teacher Gale Regis received a grant from AEFI four years ago to purchase a seismograph, and the piece of equipment is still having an impact on Amesbury students. “Spruce It Up” Mini-Grants now available

Have you already receive an AEFI Grant, and now need additional funds to support, maintain or upgrade that grant? Perhaps you need a software update, or even a new battery for the computer that’s running the program.
There are now funds available, up to $250, and you can submit an application on line by clicking here.

AHS Class of 1960’s SEA-Fund

The Class of 1960 has created an endowment fund that will be managed by AEFI.  The AHS-SEA fund will be supported through donations from class reunions, planned giving and other bequests, and will be used to fund activity fees for students with financial difficulties.

2010 Jeffrey Donovan Scholarship Winner

AHS Senior Rebecca Donohue won this year’s $10,000.00 Jeffrey Donovan Scholarship for the Arts. The scholarship was awarded at the Baccalaureate ceremony recently held at for all graduating senors.
Ms. Donohue is attending the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester, NH  this fall.
