THE EVENT:
The 10th Annual AEFI Hall of Honor Banquet and Ceremony is set for Friday, May 4, 2012 starting at 6pm at Holy Family Parish Hall in downtown Amesbury.
Each spring this event honors former Amesbury students, former Amesbury educators or friends of Amesbury schools who have made extraordinary contributions to their community or profession.

2011 Jeffrey Donovan Scholarship Winner
AEFI congratulates AHS Senior Ashlie Lima, who was awarded the 2011 Jeffrey Donovan Scholarship for the Arts! This scholarship was established by Jeffrey through AEFI to award one $10,000 scholarship each year to an Amesbury High School senior who plans to major in a fine arts career program in college.

Jordan M Shay Memorial Grant Goes to AES
“Foundations for Fitness” won the $10,000 Jordan M Shay Memorial Grant at the AEFI Autumn Evening of Giving. The grant will fund new playground equipment at the Amesbury Elementary School, as part of the school district’s initiative to address the issue of childhood obesity at Amesbury schools.
